The name is Jeffy Can, and I run this little space on the internet. I think of this place as a portal into my other mind, where I share how I see the world. Or you can think of it as my portfolio, because that's what it really is. Here's a bit of a breakdown explaining each of the sections of my website.

Art. As a kid I sucked at coloring inside the lines of my horribly drawn Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Then, when I was ten, and the stars were correctly aligned, I produced the most amazing drawing of Goku from Dragon Ball Z the world will never see. Since then, my artwork has somehow improved more and more. Process of art usually involves sketching in pencil on paper, sometimes inking, usually not, and then scanning and coloring in Photoshop. Occassionally I do complete pencil drawings, color pencils, watercolors, or oils. But rarely. I also took a drawing class for a quarter at UCSD, where I honed my technical skills and representational art skills. My art is always developing, so that's why I catalog all my work that I can find so you can find traces of development as I continue to draw.

I am also currently working on illustrating a children"s book which will hopefully be published within a year. I am available to do commission work, please contact me if interested.

Photo. Something I picked up in high school, although my hobby's true roots lie in Pokemon Snap. I began taking snapshots on a film camera while I was younger, and eventually upgraded to a P/S digital with a full manual mode. From there I decided it was worth it to invest into a D70, which I traded for a D70s, and currently still use. My equip is as follows: SB800, 18-200 3.5-5.6, 50 1.8, ext tubes. Always looking to get more equipment, but never able to afford it.

I can do commissioned photo-shoots, my expertise is in product photography, which can be seen at tsekoi.com and xovision.com. I do not have my own studio, but if equipment is provided, I can do whatever type of photography needed.

Film. Always loved the movies since I was a kid. I made a lot of home movies, and even stepped up to a short narrative production in high school. More recently, I've picked up the medium as an art form, and am currently using a Panasonic DVC20, a nice smalltime investment, but I do wish to upgrade soon. My passion is for narrative fiction, but I also enjoy experimental and documentary work as well. My video work is still developing and I know I have a lot of room for improvement.

If you have any video related work for me, or need help making something, please let me know, I need all the experience I can get!

Who? If you want to contact me, you can e-mail me at jeffycan@gmail.com. Please don't spam me, or send me porn (unless you think it's a MUST SEE). Contact me if you have work for me, want to use my works for something, or if you'd just like a copy of something for no reason, or even just to chat.
