Showcase of works
This is my production demo reel. It's a short edit of many of the more recent works I have been involved in. All of which is shown I have either shot or editted. Other aspects I have been a part of are sound mixing, directing, composing.

Director, Director of Photography, Editing, Sound Mix, Post Production, Writer
This was for my VIS 180B Fiction and Allegory class. Fun project. It was a good idea, a bit under developed, and as usual, pressured by time. Production lasted but three days with variable weather and only two crew members. Would've like to have done a lot more with it, but it was fun.

Director of Photography, Editing, Sound Mix, Post Production, Score, Writer
This was for my VIS 171 Digital Cinema Theory class. Production was in November of 2008, it just took me a long time to get around to editting and whatnot. Production was a mess, and the first edit was horrid. I felt too committed from all the time spent in to leave the project as is, so I had to go back and see what I could do with postproduction. Overall, not completely happy with the end product, but somewhat satisfied. If I ever find the will to, I will come back and make tweaks to it.

March 2009
Director of Photography, Editing, Sound Mix, Post Production, Score
This was for my VIS 183B Strategies of Alterity Class. It is an adaptation of Some Dude's The Ten Steps. We had planned the shoot for about a week when all of our cast flaked last minute. Much thanks to my friends Aimme Khuong and Adam Thipphavong for playing the roles last minute. This is also my first attempt at using Logic to score a piece, so forgive me if it's not quite there yet.

December 2008
Director of Photography, Post Production, Cast
This was for my VIS 171 Digital Cinema class I took in Fall of 2008. It's an adaptation of Made in Japan. For this one, we had a crew of about ten, but we had were assigned the project 5 days before it was due. So, after one day of writing, one day of planning, two days of shooting, and one night of editing we finished. Location scouting kinda became a mess, our plans for the border and Tijuana became a mass confusion. Every location was rushed, and I ended up shooting on a monopod instead of a tripod. Although, I found out that using a monopod to shoot is pretty cool. So for the lack of planning, and the pitiful self-played cast, we put this out.

Self-Made
This was for my VIS 178 Sound Design class. Although, I kind of like how it came out, I'm extremely disatisfied with the production of it. I'd probably like to reshoot this sometime. It was a last minute project, with basically no solid idea behind it. I went out with a camera and tripod, and filmed myself running around. I supposed I wrote the story as I filmed it. I filmed it almost completely solo, I had help with camera panning and some operation on the running shots with a friend I bumped into on campus while filming. This was also my first attempt at film scoring, with live guitar.

Self-Made
This was a one day project I made after Nine Inch Nails released Ghosts I-IV for free under a creative commons license. I filmed this music inspired video in one day and edited in one night.

Self-Made
This was a project I did for my VIS 174 Media Sketchbook class: create a short using narration and still photos. I guess it's an ode to all those who are studying in giesel today.

Director, Director or Photography
This was a short written by a friend, William Renauld. Inspired by the old got milk? commercials and a new love of opera, he wrote this and asked me to film it. This was my first self-made short, where I still lacked a lot of experience.
